The Day

Here’s what to expect on May 2, 2026—everything takes place at one venue in order to be as simple as possible for us and our guests.

4:30 PM EST

Ceremony

We gather at Trinity Episcopal Church to celebrate our union.

A serene outdoor wedding setup with white chairs arranged on green grass under a canopy of trees.

5:30 PM EST

Reception

After the ceremony, guests can find their table and jump right into dinner and let the evening begin.

A serene pathway lined with trees leads to a distant building, bathed in warm sunlight.

6:30 PM EST (or whenever the Derby is)

Derby Viewing

It's Derby Day, and it'd be only fitting if we take the few minutes to watch the race.

A beautifully set dining table with white tablecloth, cutlery, and fresh greenery in a cozy, well-lit space.

9:30 PM EST

End of Evening

We'll be ending the evening at a reasonable time so that we can rest and let our guests travel safely!

A couple dances closely, showcasing a flowing green dress, against a soft, blurred background of other guests.

If your invitation includes a guest, absolutely. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out and ask.

What's the dress code?

There isn't one, but we trust you to dress in what's comfortable and makes you feel good. However, it IS Derby Day and as such, Derby hats and general springtime attire is encouraged!

Will there be vegetarian/vegan food?

Yes! We’ll make sure there’s something good for everyone.

Can I take photos?

Yes, of course – but we’d love it if you were present during the ceremony. After that, snap away. There will be a link to upload your photos to an online gallery so that we can see all of the photos you share!

Can I park at the venue?

Yes, but space is limited—please save the small front lot for those that need handicap and accessibile parking. There is a parking garage down the street with ample parking to support all our guests (see above section about the venue).
